Jobs: a thank you
A few weeks ago, we advertised for 4 jobs and 4 internships here at 10:10. By deadline day, we were faced with a pile of 600 incredible CVs, and some of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. We're really excited about the people who are joining our team over the coming weeks and appreciate the time all the applicants took to apply. Sorry if you weren't successful this time round - I wish we could have hired all of you!

Dear 10:10ers,
Thanks first of all for your great response to last month's lighting tips. This month, we're all about saving money, cutting carbon and improving our homes with insulation. We've all thought about it; we've all talked about it. Now let's do it!
- If you only do one thing this whole year, insulate your loft. This could save you up to a third on your heating bills and get you well on the way to your 10:10 target.
- There are lots of grants available to help pay for your insulation, and there's no need to do the whole house at once. Start with the coldest and most commonly used rooms, and keep going as far as your budget allows.
- If you're renting, there's plenty you can do without investing too much in your landlord's property. Try DIY draughtbusting, window film, or a hot water tank jacket for starters.
Click to see our full insulation guide – and don't forget to let us know how you get on.
Happy insulating,
Malachi and the 10:10 team
P.S. We're always keen to celebrate the most effective, surprising or funny examples of 10:10ers cutting their emissions. Share your stories with us (and the world) by emailing press@1010uk.org.
